Shabbat Morning Programs For Young Children

  • Shabbat Fun for children 3-5 years old in the Youth Lounge from 11:15-12:15.
  • Torah and Tefilah Time for 5-8 years old in Room 4 from 11:00-12:15.
  • Mini-Minyan: the Shabbat Service for 8-10 years old in the Gannet Chapel 10:45-12:15.

Please escort your children to the appropriate location and pick them up at the conclusion of their program so that they may join us for the closing prayers (ain kelohaynu, olaynu and adonolom) in the main sanctuary.

From our Religious Activities Committee:

Proper attire is expected in the sanctuary. Turn off audible beepers or cell phones.

For those who ascend onto the bimah:

Women and girls are to wear dresses or skirts of appropriate length. No pocketbooks.

Men and boys should not wear jeans or shorts.  Head covering.

On Shabbat and Holidays:

There is no smoking, picture taking, and tape recording on synagogue grounds.  Presents should not be brought into the building.
